This technology, called BioPCM, was the hero of their many platforms, but it’s function was not clearly communicated. We developed a message and a seal which accomplishes that.

The client liked the message, “Protected with BioPCM,” so much it is now an internationally registered trademark. “Let’s Talk About Zero” is a campaign message that further drives home the value of using their unique form of energy.

The founder of White Oak Orthodontics had a vision to enter the competitive orthodontic supply market. Over 10 years later the brand is thriving and has solid brand presence in the industry.

Our solutions resulted in a fresh contrast to leading brands in the sector as well as an innovative, proprietary and sustainable package that used no plastic and is 100% recyclable.

Google Wing is an autonomous On-demand Air Delivery Service aiming to increase access to goods, reduce traffic congestion in cities, and help ease the CO2 emissions attributable to the transportation of goods. PROBLEM: They had a problem with water wicking damage to its first-generation paper bag carrier while flying in rainy weather.

SOLUTION: Convinced the client to move away from the perforated structure on the side of the delivery bag to employ a unique tuck-lock system at the top, and an additional fold feature that prevents water from going into the front tip. The research resulted in the first tuck-lock system of this kind and used paper board that's made of recycled material and also water resistant. The development took almost three quarters of a year. Artios CAD and a Kongsburg table were used to create series of samples that ultimately contributed to the final design. WING continues to use this design since being developed several years ago.

RESULTS: Industrial designer, Aubrey Jones helped Wing solve the wicking issue with its first-generation delivery bag for their on-demand drone service that operates currently on three continents, delivering everything from medicine and library books, to hot coffees and fresh cookies to customers in Australia, Finland, and the United States.
